WHO AM I?

Hello! I am Sienna Danielle, a sound designer and game audio implementer from Maui, Hawaii. I studied recording arts and music production at Drexel University and graduated in 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in the Music Industry along with two minors: business, and virtual reality & immersive media. 

After some time spent working in music production at Milkboy the Studio, I discovered sound design and foley art through post production projects the engineers had been working on. After that, I spent a summer interning at Sound Lab: A Keywords Studio where I continued to grow my skillset under the tutelage of their incredible sound design team in Burbank.

Growing up playing piano, singing in choir, and being surrounded by a musical family was the start of my sonic journey, but it was my time at Sound Lab that led me to find my passion for storytelling through video game audio. My goal is to work at a AAA game development company and help bring digital soundscapes to life for players. Thanks for checking out my work!

REDESIGNS

HOGWARTS  LEGACY  SOUND  REDESIGN

I wanted to practice layering and texture through magic sound design. It was fun trying to create something that lived up to the standards of one of my favorite childhood movie series.

HALO INFINITE SOUND REDESIGN

I enjoy designing weapon sounds and this video had plenty of opportunities to do just that. The grenade clip sound and gun redesigns were especially fun for me.

3D GAME KIT SOUND & IMPLEMENTATION

 I implemented sounds I redesigned into Unity’s 3D Game Kit using Wwise. The Spitter Attack and Enemy Dissolve were my favorite sound effects to make in this project.

BUNNY JUMPING - SOUND & IMPLEMENTATION

I found this open source game on itch.io and wanted to add sound to it because the original author had not added any. It was great practice for me to complete the game-audio process from start to finish.

I used Ableton and Max for Live to put a bunch of features I regularly use for Sci-Fi sound design into a single plugin. Honestly, the UI Designer is a little broken, but I like to think of it as a feature not a bug because I have created some cool sounds with it, intentionally or otherwise.

OTHER PROJECTS

SOCIALIZING

“Socializing” is a short film I produced during my internship at JTWO Films. I wanted to showcase a negative side of social media that I have noticed—not truly seeing the full picture of someone through their digital persona. This is my first ever short film and it was definitely a challenging process, but I learned a ton about media production and story telling through this experience. I also had a lot of fun in the process!

BOTOGRAPHY

“Botography” is a cozy 2D adventure-exploration game where you play as a botanist researching the local flora while navigating an unfamiliar planet. It was a senior capstone project at Drexel University that I had the opportunity to do the sound design for. I enjoyed making the cozy atmospheric ambiences for this game!

SPROUTING SPIRIT

“Sprouting Spirit” is senior capstone animation from Drexel University that I had the pleasure of writing the score for. I learned a lot about navigating the ever-changing nature of scoring to picture during this project. The whimsical nature of this animation allowed me to make fun creative choices with the instrumentation!
